A Look Behind the Book
Make School Work is both a promise and a challenge—giving students authentic experiences, building their abilities, fueling aspirations, and empowering their agency.
In this short book trailer, the authors share why a tighter relationship between education and the world of work matters—and how educators and employers can start small and build work-based learning that grows to quality and scale over time. The book codifies what we’ve learned so communities don’t have to reinvent the wheel, with a six-part approach to align the right partners around a shared goal: helping young people step into income-sustaining, life-affirming careers they can be proud of.
